Today is the day to invent a new salad.

Chicagoans, have you marked your calendars?

Also, here's a book that has some stuff of mine in it:

The Very Best Weblog Writing Ever By Anyone Anywhere In The Whole Wide World Vol. 1

Former Mouseketeer and Mr. Britney Spears Justin Timberlake has been on the record at The Observer being "rather enthusiastic" about admitting to his drug use:

"When asked if he'd ever want to be president of the United States - 'I've done way too many drugs already,' he responds, without missing a beat. 'I've already inhaled and I've already...who knows. I don't know if I want that responsibility.' So what's he done? 'I fear that if I said that, I'd fuel the fire, so forgive me,' he says. 'I'm just like everyone else, I get completely plastered, I've done my fair share of drugs and I've been caught places with my pants down; it's just I make sure there are no cameras around. If we get into this whole [drugs] conversation we don't have enough time. Some drugs haven't been legalised because it will ruin the other drugs, like nicotine and tobacco. Nicotine is more addictive than heroin. I'll leave the preaching to the preachers - my grandfather's a preacher - but I believe you don't do anything to excess. They always say too much of a good thing could be a bad thing. I try to live my life in a well-rounded manner. We all make mistakes.'"

Why on earth would Justin Timberlake say such a thing on the record? Based on my finely tuned skills at interpreting what celebrities mean, I think that he said this because it would be just slightly less obvious than saying "I'm not a Mouseketeer anymore, goddammit. And I'm not dating Britney Spears. I am a man and I have sex and if I were Ricky Schroeder this would be the point where I changed my name to 'Rick.' So don't make me your sweetheart anymore because baby, that ain't me. I do drugs, man.

But not so many that you shouldn't still find me adorable and not buy my albums! Don't forget!"
