Today is the day to have an eggroll, Mr. Goldstone
Okay, five things for you:
Turn on your TVs, preferably a 24-hour cable news channel, and you will see that human remains have been found in DC, in Rock Creek Park. Could they be Chandra's? Well, perhaps. The media's going to run with it until its proven otherwise. But the important question is WHERE the remains were found. That's right, in my backyard. Literally. If you watch long enough, they will say the location is just off Brandywine, well I live on Brandywine. In fact, I live in The Brandywine. Well, I'm aghast. All this time, Chandra's been decomposing a stone's throw from my bedroom window. Just lovely. So lovely, I thought I'd share. Have a nice day, all.
While I was babysitting the other night, I introduced myself to a new
snack product: X-treme JELL-O Brand Gel Sticks. As the website says, "X-TREME
JELL-O, a new line of JELL-O made just for kids, brings fun and X-citement
to snack time. X-TREME JELL-O gel sticks are available in six intense
flavors and the ready-to-eat gel sticks come in an innovative, hand-held
package, making them the perfect snack anywhere that kids go."
And without all the X's, I have to say I concur. It's like getting an
injection of Jell-O, as you squeeze it directly down your throat! I highly
recommend it, especially the blue (most dignified) flavor.
I bring you news from the wonderful world of advertising. For those of you living in the Chicagoland area, around June 1, keep your eyes peeled for the new Majestic Star Casino television campaign, conceived and written by yours truly. They're nothing spectacular but it's kind of cool to expand my control of the media (admit it, I control the media. Admit it!) Yesterday we were working on the voiceovers for it. This is sort of interesting: no matter how mundane the announcement, voiceover guys and girls still have to gesticulate, I suppose because it sounds more realistic. But there's nothing like seeing somebody gesture wildly as they say, "Must be 21 or older. See Club Majestic for details." Doesn't that make you want to flail your arms around?
Make sure to read tomorrow. Really. This is a big interview.
That's all. Have a great day!
