Hey: I have a fancy column on the show "My Name is Earl" in the LA Times.
My boss, sometimes, when she wants to make a point or indicate that what she's asking is very important or urgent, WILL TYPE IN ALL CAPS IN HER EMAILS. Sometimes IT DRIVES ME CRAZY although I'm not really sure why (MAYBE IT HAS TO DO WITH THE FACT THAT OFTEN THE ALL CAPS ARE ACCOMPANIED BY TOO MUCH EMPHATIC PUNCTUATION????!!!!11). A friend of mine also noticed that a catalogue she was reading was written in all caps and it too drove her MAD WITH RAGE. So I thought about some things that just do not come across well when they're written in all caps:

MY CONDOLENCES REGARDING YOUR GRANDMOTHER'S DEATH
