Today is the day to get back to begin the most holy tanning season.

It's been brought to my attention that sometimes, the things I write that I think at the time are funny, flip and snarky are actually rude and mean-spirited. I am the last person in the world who would ever say the words "I don't care what other people think about me," so to make some amends, I would like here and now to say some very nice, sincere things about the Bush family.
They are a good-looking family; definitely better-looking than the Kennedys.
Many of them are animal-lovers, which goes far with me.
They seem like a fun family to hang out with at a wedding.
Barbara kicks a lot of ass.
Seeing George H.W. do good work with Clinton warms my heart.
Also, I think GHW was cool for jumping out of an airplane on his 80th birthday.
One more on 43: he seemed to have a good sense of humor when it came to making fun of himself.
The White House Christmas video never fails to tickle me.
They stick to their guns.
They seem very loyal to each other.
In general they seem to be in enviable physical shape.
Final question, more than a compliment: whatever happened to P.?
