A movie that's coming out this year with a big splash is the film "Zoo," which takes a " look at the life of a Seattle man who died as a result of an unusual encounter with a horse" and thus attempts to understand the zoophilic community. People who love animals. Who really love animals.
I haven't seen this movie yet but I hope it covers one thing that bothers me: why in cat food (and sometimes litter) commercials are female cats portrayed as sexy, high-class dames? For some reason, time and time again, if there is a commercial about a disdainful cat who you can tell just enjoys lying around the house, throws a fit if her food isn't presented in a crystal dish , is very finicky about what she eats and is probably actually a high class whore. If she has a voice, it's a Mae West type who speaks in slinky euphemisms. Don't believe me? Here are a few examples.
In comparison, dog food commercials basically just involve happy dogs running around. Dogs are clearly asexual. Whoever is making the cat food commercials clearly thinks of dogs as "just friends."
Somebody thinks cats are pretty sexy and weirdly enough this message is making it on the airwaves. What is it about the animal that's so sensual? The shedding? Or the hairballs? Or maybe the burning pee smell? That's probably it.
Anyway, I hope this is addressed in the movie.
