Today is the day to put your thing down flip it and reverse it.

Read this article. Come to the reading. It's in Austin!

I have a new piece today on Reinventing the World, which was inspired by the materials here. And I wrote something else about it here. At any rate, enjoy!

An explanation on today's shoddily put-together list. Amazon.com, which you may have heard of, as it sells some sort of dry goods, now offers this thing called a "Gold Box," where you are offered 10 wondrous secret offers, and it shows them to you one at a time. However, if you choose not to buy an item and move on to see the next one, you are 'passing it forever.' It's quite a moral dilemma, you see. But I have my rationales.

Items in my Amazon Gold Box That I Passed Up, And Why

Farberware Nonstick 4-Cup Egg Poacher:
With my job as a prison cook, I never have any reason to buy anything other than a 400-Cup Egg Poacher

Linksys USBM128M Instant USBDisk 128MB
Linsky is a dirty bastard!

Weber 261101 Black Summit 450 Gas Grill - [Lawn & Patio]
This grill said nothing about grilling in your bathroom, and that's my preferred place to grill. That's the only way to get truly fresh fish.

Haley's Hints: A Compilation
Haley is but a pale imitation of Heloise.

Baby Jockey Pink Sleeveless Creeper - Small
Ain't no way my baby is wearing a small. He (or she, I forgot if it's a boy or a girl) is husky, y'know, 'big boned.'

2.5 Action Feature Digimon"
Digimon? I still can't get enough of these Pokemon!

Bodum 3000-10USAA Electric Santos 12-Cup Coffeemaker, ClearBodum 3000-10USAA Electric Santos 12-Cup Coffeemaker, Clear
I hate to confess it here, but I am an incorrigible racist, and have no desire to buy something made by a man named "Santos."

Spirit - Stallion of the Cimarron (Widescreen Edition) - [DVD]
I'm still having nightmares from seeing this in the theater.
