List: Some Reasons Why I Would Only Make an "Average" 1930's Housewife

Dresses for breakfast.

Fails to sew on buttons or darn socks regularly.

Fails to wash top of milk bottle before opening it.

Gives husband shampoo or manicure.

Good seamstress--can make her own clothes or the children's clothes.

Has a pleasant disposition in the morning--not crabby.

Keeps husband's clothes clean and pressed.

Often comments on husband's strength and masculinity.

Puts her cold feet on husband at night to warm them.

Seams in hose often crooked.

Wears red nail polish.

Visits mother too often--a spoiled child.

Wears pajamas instead of nightgown.
